The ATB Alberta Cup is coming to Canmore from April 29 – May 3, 2015. The Alberta Cup provides players, coaches, trainers, and referees an equal opportunity to discover the great qualities of competitive hockey in a well organized and fair Zone Camp and Select Team competition. Athletes eligible for the 2015 Alberta Cup program are male players that were born in the year 2000.
The Alberta Cup program begins in early March with over 1,000 players trying out for a spot on their respective zone team. There will be a total of eight different Alberta Cup zone teams coming to Canmore including Calgary South, Calgary North, Edmonton Blue, Edmonton Yellow, Central, Northwest, South and Northeast. Each team will participate with a 20-man roster.
The teams will assemble in Canmore for practices and instruction on Wednesday, April 29. All eight teams will then play a minimum of three games on Thursday, April 30 and Friday, May 1, with playoffs set for Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3rd. The A Final will be played on Sunday, May 3 at 1:45 pm. All games will be played at the Canmore Recreation Centre.

TICKETS
Advanced tickets are available for purchase at the ATB Cup website at http://www.tourismcanmore.com/albertacup. A weekend pass is available for $45 and a Weekend Family Pass is $150. Day passes ($12) and individual game day tickets ($7) will be available at the door.
