BONTORIN SNARES FEBRUARY PLAYER OF THE MONTH AWARD

Canmore Eagle goaltender Ryan Bontorin has been selected as the Mountain FM’s Player of the Month for February/early March.
From being a pre-season cut by the Olds Grizzlys in early September to becoming the bona-fide starter for the Eagles, Bontorin deserves to be recognized for his solid season and ability to handle a huge workload.
Bontorin went 6-2-3 in February and March games and posted a goals against average of 3.42 and a save percentage of .908. He has also started 13 of the Eagles last 14 regular season games.
His solid work ethic shines through with his willingness to help younger hockey players in the community as he was also just awarded the Canmore Minor Hockey Award at the recent Eagle Award’s Dinner.
Congratulations to Ryan Bontorin.
