We lost a member of our Eagles family last week. Former board member, billet parent, and long time Eagles fan, Leslie Vanderzwet passed away from her hard fought battle with ALS.
The Canmore Eagles game Wednesday vs. the Bonnyville Pontiacs was held in tribute to Leslie. As previously announced the Eagles portion of the 50/50 Jackpot would be donated to the ALS Society of Alberta. With a great turnout from fans, the Eagles set a weekday record for 50/50 Jackpot at $1345.
The Eagles would like to thank everyone in attendance for helping us break that record and remembering Leslie.
