Canmore, AB (Jan.10th, 2016) – The Canmore Eagles of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) have traded 1998-born forward Daylan Marchi to the Flin Flon Bombers Junior A Hockey Club of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) in exchange for Dondre Watson.

Marchi has been with the Eagles since the end of the 2014-2015 season and has since played in 76 games and recorded 18 points (8 goals, 10 assists).

The Canmore Eagles would like to thank Marchi for his contribution to the Canmore Eagles and the Bow Valley community. We wish him the best of luck with the Flin Flon Bombers.

Dondre Watson (Calgary AB) 1996-born forward, is a product of the Calgary Flames Midget AAA program. Ringing in at 6’0” 170lbs, Watson has 124 regular season junior hockey games under his belt. During those games, Watson has recorded 88 points (56 goals, 32 assists).

“Acquiring Watson adds another level of scoring punch to our roster,” said Andrew Milne, “Every game is a step closer to the post season and we believe that Watson’s experience will be an asset in the dressing room and on the ice.”

The Canmore Eagles are excited to welcome Watson to the Eagles organization and are eager to see him in the lineup.
