We always have a blast visiting Town of Banff! This game was extra special kicking off our 25th Anniversary Season. Being a community owned team means it?s always about community support for us. Tonight we had 4 little Bears, Kale Howie (Novice Bears), Hailey McCutcheon (Atom Bears) Shea Vaugeois (Peewee 1 Bears) and Tony Koo (Peewee 2 Bears) join the Eagles to represent Banff Minor Hockey for the opening ceremony.
We also had two important kids participating in our puck drop. Zach Naftel (Billet Brother to Lane Paddison) represented our Canmore & Deadman?s Flats Billets and Abby Wagner (Billet Sister to Carter Coles and Owen Reith) represented our Banff Billets.
And in showing our support to other local teams, we had volunteers from the Canmore Wolverines Football team out selling ducks for the Canmore Duck Race! There?s still time to get your ducks if you haven?t yet!
And last but certainly not least thank you to the Banff Hockey Academy (BHA Bears) for letting us use their dressing room and coming out to cheer on the team!
