The Canmore Eagles are pleased that arena and rec centre facilities are now permitted to re-open across the province. Our organization has every intention on hosting our 2020 Identification Camp for all invited prospect players. We also intend on delivering previously postponed Eagles Hockey Development programs which include Eagles Spring 3 on 3 and the annual Canmore Hockey School.
Currently, the Canmore Eagles 2020 Identification Camp is temporarily postponed until Eagles management is completely educated on the proper return to play protocols from health officials, facility officials, and the Alberta Junior Hockey League. As soon as our staff collects all of the required information regarding the return to play protocol and has 100% confidence in the process the new camp dates and details will be announced. To announce new camp dates and details without complete knowledge of health, facility, and league protocols would be pre-mature at this time.
We are currently in communication with the Town of Canmore, Recreation and Facilities Department and are hopeful to announce with permission additional new youth hockey programs for the Bow Valley in the coming weeks.
Registration for the Canmore Hockey School and Spring 3 on 3 all remain open. We are excited to be inching closer to hitting the ice again soon!
