The Canmore Eagles Fan Bus to Camrose on Feb 1-2 is a confirmed GO!
Hello Hockey Fans!!!
As our timing was off a little for our December Fan Bus Trip, so we are running a trip to Camrose for the Back to Back games on Friday Feb. 1 and Saturday Feb. 2.
** The hotel is The Norsemen Inn, 6505 – 48 Avenue, Camrose, AB – 780-672-9171 http://www.norsemeninn.com/ Rooms are $104 plus tax per room – Quote Canmore Eagles Fan Club Room Block!!INDIVIDUALS MUST CALL TO BOOK OWN ROOMS. (The team will be at the Ramada, a couple of blocks over as the rate there was $144.99 / The Super 8 was sold out)
** Brewster Bus – 56 passenger – So sorry our Luxary Motor Coach was already booked – Darn Darn Darn!!!
The Brewster Bus cost is $2200.00 plus tax/$2310.00 + plus the driver's room $104.00 plus tax / $114.40 + plus Grat $240.00.
Total : $2664.40 approximately
– Divided by 20 passengers MINIMUM = $134 per person
– Divided by 30 passengers = $89 per person
– Divided by 40 passengers = $67 per person
*** This rate will adjust depending on final numbers
Cost per person for two people sharing one room:
Hotel: $114.40 per room = $57.20 per person – paid directly to hotel
Bus: $134 per person (maximum – may be lower if numbers exceed 20) – paid to B & M Stevens
Total: $191.20 per person in shared accommodation approximately
(maximum – again depends on final numbers on bus)
THE PLAN:
Departing Friday February 1 – 12:00 noon sharp from Canmore Rec Centre, stopping to pick up passengers in Calgary at COP approximately 12:45. (Pick up location is by the Frank King Olympic Visitors Centre – #2 on the linked map: http://www.winsportcanada.ca/files/Map_WinterHill.pdf). We will load up, have a quick toilet break and carry on down the road by 1:00 pm hopefully. Arriving in Camrose approximately 5:00 pm – hotel check in.
Off for group dinner by 5:30 / Canadian Brewhouse and then head off to the first game (7:30 pm).
Return to hotel to celebrate a terrific win!!
Saturday February 2 – Unfortunately due to bus/driver restrictions(10 hour day), we are on our own during the day time. There are many stores/shops/restuarants/lounges/movie theatre/etc in the immediate area. Also a lovely downtown core just moments away by taxi.
Check out time is 11 am / 12 noon. We can book a day use room (check out 4 pm) for an additional fee (Approx. $90.00 – split by group) if we would like to keep one room to freshen up /rest /etc. There is also a decent lounge right in the hotel.
Off for group dinner by 5:00 / 5:30 – East Side Marios or ???? and then head off to the second game (7:30 pm). We will consider restocking supplies at this time for our return journey.
Now to celebrate another win!! – onto the bus for the journey home / 10:00pm ish.

Estimate 3am to Canmore.
