The Canmore Eagles are very excited to announce that Zack Rassell has committed to join the Alaska Seawolves for the 2013-14 season.
The Seawolves are a division 1 hockey program that play out of Anchorage Alaska in the WCHA division.
Rassell is in his fourth full season with the Canmore Eagels of the Alberta Junior Hockey League. Although he did spend January to June of 2012 as a member of the Prince George Spruce Kings of the B.C. Hockey League. “Zack is such an intelligent player and his versatility allows a coach to play him in a number of situations. He has shown the ability to not only be sound defensively but also produce offensively” says GM/Head Coach Andrew Milne. It has been a real treat to watch Zack grow up and mature here in Canmore. He is a model citizen and a leader both on and off the ice.
The Eagles organization would like to congratulate Zack and his family on his commitment to Alaska. We wish him all the best in his academic and athletic future.
