Eagles Restructure Scouting Staff

In preparation for the start of the 2021-2022 season, the Canmore Eagles are making a few adjustments to their scouting staff.   Darryl Robinson will transition to position of Director of Scouting effective immediately, allowing former Head Scout Mike Glawson more time to commit to his roll of Head Coach in the U18 program.

“Mike has been a pivotal member of the staff since joining the Eagles in 2018, helping with not only scouting but coaching as well.   He will continue to do just that for the Eagles moving forward.   We want to thank Mike for his time and commitment to the organization and are very happy he will be staying with the club. “ Commented Eagles G.M. Andrew Milne.

Darryl has been involved in hockey for over 30 years holding various rolls.   Prior to joining the Eagles in the 2020 season, Robinson was a member of the Grande Prairie Storm organization, and most notably held the Director of Scouting position with the former Calgary Mustangs.

“We are excited to have Darryl transition to this position.     With his experience and knowledge this will be a very easy move.   Darryl will be able to provide the necessary time to the position ensuring we leave no stone unturned as we build what we hope is a championship team”.   Andrew Milne Eagles Coach and GM.
