The Canmore Eagles have traded 18-year-old defenseman Keston Beagle to the Drayton Valley Thunder in exchange for 20-year-old defenseman Reid Larson. Beagle, a left-shot blueliner from Rimbey, appeared in 76 games during his tenure with Canmore, while showing promise on the back end with physicality and ability to defend. The organization wishes Keston the best as his journey continues in Drayton Valley.
Reid Larson is expected to bring added depth to the Eagles’ top two pairing and added experience to the Eagles’ blue line. This move proves to be an attempt to fine-tune the defence core as the AJHL season approaches.
