Pauline Giglio and friend Trent Pipson, the winners of this year's Calgary Flame's Road Trip Raffle, have returned from their trip down East and have described their experience as a “trip of a lifetime”.
The Canmore winners flew to Montreal and spent three nights at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth and watched the Calgary Flames defeat the Montreal Candiens 4-1 on Sunday, March 20th. They then travelled to Toronto on the VIA train service and watched the Toronto Maple Leafs defeat the Flames 5-2 on Monday, March 21 and stayed at the Fairmont Royal York before flying back to Calgary.
“We had never seen a live NHL game before, so it was all very exciting,” said Giglio. “Everything was perfect.”
