What hockey player do you compare yourself to and why?
Anze Kopitar. I consider myself a two way forward who can play in all situations and I believe that he plays that role well.
Who do you look up to for inspiration?
I look up to my father, Jamie Steer. He took the same route that I am trying to pursue and he has always been the first person I turn to for advice or tips if I need help.
What will you bring to the Eagles this season?
I'll bring a two-way game to the team where I can be good both offensive and defensively and able to contribute in all situations of the game.
What does it mean to be an Eagle?
It is a pretty cool opportunity to be an Eagle. It's an opportunity to be a part of group of players with similar interests backed by a community of great supporters.
What would you like to accomplish this season?
I would like to try and gain interest from NCAA universities in hopes of getting some scholarship opportunity.
How do you plan on reaching your goals this season? What motivates you?
Just play hard night in and night out and just try and be the best I can be every night in order to help the team have success.
