Position Title- Assistant Hockey Coach with Business Operations
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Hockey Coach with a Business degree or related field to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the coaching of our hockey team, as well as certain business operations related to the team.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement effective hockey training programs and strategies for the team.
– Coach and motivate players to improve their skills and performance.
– Analyze game footage and provide feedback to players to help them improve.
– Develop game plans and strategies for team success.
– Manage and oversee team travel arrangements, including transportation and lodging.
– Plan and coordinate team events and community outreach initiatives.
– Assist in the Management of team budgets and financial operations, including fundraising and sponsorships.
– Collaborate with other departments within the organization, such as marketing and sales, to promote the team and increase revenue.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
– Proven experience as a hockey coach, preferably at the collegiate or Junior level.
– Strong leadership and communication skills.
– Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
– Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
– Knowledge of hockey training techniques, tactics, and strategies.
– Familiarity with business operations, including budgeting, fundraising, and marketing.
