The Canmore Eagles Annual Fan Bus Trip is underway!!
See three games in three days. Camrose on Friday night, Spruce Grove on Saturday night and Sherwood Park on Sunday afternoon!
Deadline to confirm/cancel trip/bus etc is December 6 – please RSVP ASAP!!
** The hotel this year is The Courtyard Marriott Downtown / One Thornton Court NW, Edmonton 780-423-9999 ( or a link to book your room will be attached soon!) Rooms are $99 plus 10% tax = $108.90 per night / double occup. – Quote Canmore Eagles Fan Club Room Block!!
** The bus cost is 2625.00 total plus the driver's room for two nights is $99 plus tax. Total : 2835.00 approximately – Divided by 16 passengers minimum = $178 per person OR 20 passengers = $143 per person. *** This rate will adjust depending on final numbers
Cost for per person for two people:
Hotel: $108.90 per person – paid directly to hotel
Bus: $178 per person (maximum) – paid to B & M Stevens
50/50 draw for Bus driver tip: $20 – cash on the bus
Total: $306.90 approximately maximum – again depends on final numbers on bus
This is the TENTATIVE plan:
Departing Friday December 14 – 12:00 noon sharp from Canmore Rec Centre, stopping to pick up passengers in Calgary at COP approximately 12:45. (Pick up location is by the Frank King Olympic Visitors Centre – #2 on the linked map: http://www.winsportcanada.ca/files/Map_WinterHill.pdf). We will load up, have a quick toilet break and carry on down the road by 1:00 pm hopefully. We may make a brief stop in Red Deer for a 'toilet' break and then carry on to Camrose. Arriving in Camrose we will find a place for dinner and then head off to the first game (7:30 pm).
For the trip up to Camrose/Edmonton – Hors d'oeuvres (nice snacks!) to share amongst the group. Please pack your own 'beverages' and supplies too. We have done this trip twice now, and had such a fun time!!
The players are in the same hotel, however they do keep their own schedule.
Saturday December 15
– shuttle to West Edmonton Mall for shopping (approx. 9 till 2). We will determine the schedule and participants on the bus Friday.
– group dinner if we would like – we can find something on route!!
– the second game in Spruce Grove (7pm).
– we hope to join the team for dinner after the game / Toni Romas like last year??
Sunday December 16
– Check out of hotel
– the third game in Sherwood Park (2:15 pm)
– Dinner – Swiss Chalet was a great option last year!
– Homeward bound – depending on roads and traffic, I am estimating Calgary about 8:00 / 8:30 pm and Canmore about 9:00/9:30 pm

HAVE YOU BOOKED YOUR ROOM??!!! If not please call the hotel directly and let them know you are with the Canmore Eagles Fan Bus – as the group block is already released – the rate is $99.00 plus tax @ 10%.
