The Canmore Eagles of the Alberta Junior Hockey League are pleased to announce that there will be no price increases for season ticket packages for the 2015-16 season. Special Early Bird rates are now available until April 30, 2015.
“Our primary goals in operating a Junior A hockey franchise in Canmore is to ice a winning team, provide a great night of entertainment for our fans at an affordable price, and if possible, provide local Bow Valley players with the opportunity to play Junior A hockey while living at home,” said Eagle’s Head Coach and General Manager Andrew Milne, whose club averaged 422 fans per game during the 2014-15 season.
“We were proud to have had five Bow Valley players on our roster last season (Simon Philp, Jeremy Gordon, Kyle Pauls, Noah Philp and Reid Wilson) and that is a tradition that we would like to see continue if the talent level is there for us,” said Milne. “We expect to have Kyle Pauls and Noah Philp back for next season and there are a couple of other local boys that we are taking a very good look at for next season. There is no other team in the AJHL that tries as hard as us to give local boys the opportunity to play Junior A hockey and we’re very proud of that tradition.”
The Canmore Eagles will play 29 regular season AJHL games at the Canmore Recreation Centre next season with the schedule running from early September to late February. Purchase your season tickets before May, 1, 2015 and take advantage of our Early Bird sale price.
