“We are very thrilled and grateful that Patrick Marleau has agreed to come to Canmore and help out us out with our hockey camp,” said Eagle’s Head Coach and General Manager Andrew Milne. “Patrick is certainly one of the best players to ever play in the NHL and on the world stage. Hopefully our kids will learn a lot from him.”
The Eagles Summer Hockey School is just one more local initiative that will allow the Eagles to remain financially viable in the Bow Valley.
“This initial Canmore Eagle’s hockey school represents a great opportunity for the Canmore Eagles to generate additional funds to help the team stay here and perhaps give us a good blue-print for hockey schools down the road,” said Milne. “This is also a great opportunity for local kids to get back on the ice and start prepping for the up-coming hockey season.”
