Thursday, February 21, 2013 – The Canmore Eagles have qualified for the 2013 Alberta Junior Hockey League playoffs.
Although the Eagles still don’t know who they will meet in the opening round, Games One and Two of the Best-of Five series will be played on the road on Wednesday, March 6 and Thursday, March 7.
The Eagles will then return home for Game 3 on Saturday, March 9, and Game 4, if necessary, will be played on Sunday, March 10. Both home games will start at 7 PM.
Game Five, if necessary, would be played on the road on Tuesday, March 12.
“All current season ticket holders will have first right of refusal to renew their seats for the playoffs,” said Eagle’s President Darryl Lockwood. “We will hold their seats until our last home game on March 1st. If we haven’t heard from them by March 2, we will put their tickets up for public sale.”
Individual playoff ticket prices for the current season ticket holders will be $15 for adults, $12 for students/seniors, and $10 for children.
“We will initially provide all our season ticket holders with a package of four tickets for Playoff Games 1-4,” said Lockwood. “To receive your playoff tickets, we will require a valid credit card number or a blank cheque. When our season concludes, we will then bill our season ticket holders the appropriate amount for the number of home games played.”
