Shutout performance by Eagles Goalies

The Canmore Eagles returned to the win column with a 4-0 over the Olds Grizzlys on Tuesday, Oct. 19.
The first of two games to be played this season at the Banff Fenlands Recreation Centre, Andreai Proctor-Ramirez turned in a 33-save performance, with Matt Malin having to play the third period in replacment making 12 saves.  
The Eagles last win was a Proctor-Ramirez shutout and came just before the Eagles went on a three-game losing skid.
Now back in the win column, the Eagles got goals from Riley Dekowny and Ethan Schaeffer, with each scoring their team co-leading fifth goals of the season, as both came in the second period. Isaac Suppin scored his second goal of the season in the first period. Kyle Young”™s third of the season into an empty net in the third period completed the scoring.
Canmore dressed 2005-born affiliate player Casey Black to shore up the defence. The Calgary Flames U18 defenceman recorded two assists in his junior A debut.
Tristan Martin was in goal for Olds as the Eagles outshot the Grizzlys 43-33.
On the power play, Canmore finished 2-for-8 while Olds was 0-for-3.
