This Week in Eagle History (Oct.7th – Oct.13th)

October 12th, 2009: Goalie Sam Brittain stopped 46 of 48 shots as the Eagles tied with the Calgary Canucks 2-2 on the road.

October 9th, 2010: The line of Brian Doust-Cody Cartier-Kory Roy had a combined 11 points as the Eagles edged the Drayton Valley Thunder 7-6 on home ice. Doust had a goal and 3 assists, Cartier and a goal and 2 assists and Roy had 4 assists.

October 9th, 2011: Forward Steve Phee had 2 goals and a 5 point night. Canmore native Luke Simpson had 2 goals and 2 assists and another Canmore product Simon Philp had 4 assists as the Eagles took down the Olds Grizzlys 7-5 on home ice.

October 11th, 2014: Forward Jordan Revie had a hat trick, the first of his AJHL career. While Connor Wilson and Simon Philp each had 3 assists in an Eagles 5-3 win on home ice vs the Fort McMurray Oil Barons.

October 7th, 2017: Forward Colton Young recorded a hat trick and 4 point night. It was his 2nd career AJHL hat trick and also his 2nd in back-to-back nights. Goalie Thomas Davis stopped all 42 shots he faced as the Eagles hammered the visiting Calgary Canucks 7-0.
