This Week in Eagles History:


September 16 1995: The Bow Valley Eagles (the team?s name from 1995-2001) played their very first regular season game in franchise history against the Calgary Canucks at Max Bell Arena. The Eagles lost the game by a score of 5-3.
September 20 1995: The Eagles played their first ever home game in front of a sold out crowd of 900 fans at the Canmore Recreation Centre. The Eagles defeated the Calgary Royals 6-2.
September 16 2008: Forward Scott Hudson scored twice and had 2 assists and Defenceman Kaare Odegard had a goal and a 5 point night as the Eagles edged the Calgary Royals 6-5 in Overtime on home ice.
September 19 2015: Forward Logan Ferguson recorded a hat trick, the first of his Junior career in an Eagles 6-3 home win over the Drumheller Dragons.
September 17 2017: Forward Coy Prevost recorded a hat trick, the first of his Junior career and Goalie Thomas Davis stopped 47 of the 48 shots he faced in an Eagles 4-1 road win over the Calgary Mustangs.
