Tisdale Commits to Clarkson University

Canmore, AB (May, 2017) – The Canmore Eagles of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) are proud to announce 1998-born forward Adam Tisdale, from Cochrane, AB has committed to Clarkson University.

The Clarkson University Golden Knights (NCAA Division I) first formed in 1920 have seen 71 winning seasons, 10 ECAC Regular Season Titles, and 5 ECAC Championship Titles. The Head Coach of the Golden Knights, Casey Jones, has coached the team for six years and has been named a finalist three times for ECAC Hockey Coach of the Year. 

In Tisdale's rookie season of 2015-16, the 5-foot-10, 170 lbs. forward appeared in all 60 regular-season games and counted 38 points (10 goals, 28 assists) and was named the team's most improved player over the course of the season. This past season, Tisdale played in 59 games and collected 51 points. Tisdale was also named to the CJHL Prospects Game Team West roster this year. 

“We are all very proud of Adam and his commitment,” said Eagles Head Coach and GM Andrew Milne. “He was a young player that believed in our program and committed himself to doing the necessary work to achieve his goals. We wish him all the success as he takes the next steps in advancing his hockey career.”
