The Canmore Eagles would like to thank everyone who attended and contributed to this year’s “Town Party 3” as it turned out to be a big success for the hockey club.
“It was the best Town Party yet,” enthused Eagle’s President Darryl Lockwood, who estimated that close to 400 people attended this year’s event. “This is the club’s biggest fund raiser of the year and we are extremely grateful for the support that everyone gave us this year.
“We would especially like to thank Shannon Pauls, and her group of volunteers, for all their hard work in organizing this event. We would also like to thank local bands Sully's Garage and Cronic for putting on such amazing shows, and to the Coast Hotel for allowing us to use their facilities for the event.
“Special thanks also to all the individuals and businesses who donated to the silent auction and also bid on the items on display.”
