The Canmore Eagles were active at the 2024 AJHL Trade deadline, adding familiar faces to the lineup. The Eagles welcomed back 19-year-old Defenceman Nolan Ryan from the Kamloops Blazers and 19-year-old goaltender Matt Kieper from the Swift Current Broncos both of the Western Hockey League. With these additions, they were forced to send 18-year-old goaltender John Macpherson to the Golden Rockets of the KIJHL.
