EAGLES STYMIED AGAIN

Sunday, December 2, 2012 – Despite outshooting their opposition by a wide 35-19 margin, the Canmore Eagles just can’t buy a win these days.
Thanks to a few costly defensive miscues and their inability to convert offensively, the Eagles dropped a 4-2 decision to the visiting Fort McMurray Oil Barons in an Alberta Junior Hockey League game played last night before 367 fans at the Canmore Recreation Centre.
It was the Eagle’s 12th loss in their past 13 games, and extended their current losing streak to eight games.
Jeremy Margeson (4th) and newcomer Mattia Bortolotto (3rd) had the Eagle goals.
Canmore’s next game is Saturday, December 8 when the Calgary Mustangs pay a visit to the Canmore Recreation Centre. Game time is 7 pm.
