Thanks to Can-Bow Motors, both Will Revie and Mike Gordon will be heading to Las Vegas as co-winners of this year's “Las Vegas Shoot-out” finals which was held at the Canmore Eagle game on Friday, Feb. 27.
With four finalists going after the grand prize, both Revie and Gordon had to go to overtime after both competitors successfully fired 11 pucks into the empty net from centre-ice duiring the 30-second timed event. With both competitors backed up to the far blue-line for a sudden death shootout, Gordon missed his first shot and Revie took advantage by calmly firing the puck into the empty net to claim first-place.
As an excellent community good-will gesture, Can-Bow Motors was quick to step up to the plate and also awarded an additional trip to Las Vegas to Mike Gordon as well.
