JOE SERPICO COMMITS TO SUNY GENESEO

The Canmore Eagles are pleased to announce that forward Joe Serpico has committed to play for the college of SUNY Geneseo in the fall of 2015. SUNY Geneseo is located in upper New York state.
Serpico, a 21-year-old forward from Calgary, AB, came to the Canmore Eagles from the Calgary Mustangs mid-way through the 2013-14 AJHL season and registered 80 points (30 goals and 50 assists) in 100 AJHL regular season games for the Eagles.
“We are very happy for both Joe and his family,” said Eagles Head Coach and General Manager Andrew Milne. “When we acquired Joe, we hoped he would produce offensively for us and he certainly didn’t disappoint us. His experience and offensive talents instantly solidified our team. Joe is extremely committed and worked very hard for this opportunity and I’m glad it paid off for him. “
“Playing in Canmore was an awesome experience for me and I couldn’t have asked to play in a better place,” said Serpico, who will enroll in business studies. “I would like thank everyone in the organization for providing me with this great opportunity.”
The entire Eagles organization would like to wish Joe all the best in his future hockey and academic endeavors.
