Canmore, AB (Nov 29th 2018)

The Canmore Eagles have acquired ’99 born defenceman, Brent Schuldhaus from the Spruce Grove Saints in exchange for future considerations.

Schuldhaus, from Calgary Alberta, started his Alberta Junior Hockey League career with the Saints scoring 3 goals and 3 assists in his first 20 games. Prior to his rookie year, Schuldhaus played three seasons in the Shattuck St. Mary’s Midget AAA program.

“We have been working on adding a defenceman for while,” said Eagles Head Coach / General Manager Andrew Milne. “Adding Brent is going to be a big boost for our back end. He has a long reach, and good ability to defend along with the skill to move the puck up the ice.”

Schuldhaus who will wear #3 will join his new teammates for the Eagles next game on Saturday, December 1st in Olds. Eagles fans will be able to see him on home ice for the first time on Sunday, December 2nd at 2:30 pm against the Calgary Mustangs.
