Eagles Aquire Riley Bodnarchuk, Move Kimmel In Trade

The Canmore Eagles have acquired 2001 born defenceman Riley Bodnarchuk from the Fort McMurray Oil Barons in exchange for 2002 born forward Tristan Kimmen in a 1-for-1 deal.

Riley Bodnarchuk will be entering his third season in the Alberta Junior Hockey League. Including playoffs, the 19-year-old has played in 106 AJHL games totaling 37 career points. Starting his junior career in 2018-19 with the Calgary Mustangs, the 6?3?? left-shot defenceman finished the season with 2 goals and 12 points in 47 games. Last season, Bodnarchuk split his time between the Spruce Grove Saints and the Oil Barons combining for 6 goals and 22 points.

Moving the other way is Tristan Kimmen who recently completed his rookie season with the Eagles with 5 goals and 9 points in 42 games. The Canmore Eagles organization thanks Tristan and his family for their time and contributions to the team.
