PATRICK MARLEAU CONFIRMED FOR SUMMER HOCKEY CAMP

The Canmore Eagles and Pinnacle Hockey are pleased to confirm that NHL star Patrick Marleau will once again be back to lend his expertise to Week One of this year's annual summer hockey camp.

Marleau, a 2010 and 2014 Olympic Gold Medalist, will be the key instructor during Week One (August 10-14, 2015) at the Canmore Recreation Centre.

Other instructors confirmed for both Week One and Week Two (August 17-21, 2015) include former Boston Bruin and current Canmore Eagle assistant coach Jeremy Reich, Canmore Eagle Head Coach Andrew Milne, Kooteney Ice star Luke Philp, plus many current Canmore Eagle Junior A players.

Pinnacle Hockey is also in negotiation with St. Louis Blue defenceman Jay Bouwmeester and Florida Panther goaltender Sam Brittain for possible Week 2 instruction.

The hockey school is intended for kids ages 5 to 16 years-old and costs $450 (+gst) per week.

The program will feature:

* 5 to 1 player to instructor ratio.

* Quality instruction and guidance in ares such as checking, shooting, puck skills, skating and systems work.

* Off-ice training

* Lunch included.
