Tayler Miller, (Lethbridge, AB) is an 01-born defenceman who led the Alberta Major Midget Hockey League (AMHL) in scoring by a defenceman. Miller finished the year with 14 goals, and 35 points in 35 games while leading his team as Captain. In addition to leading the AMHL in defence scoring, Miller was named to the AMHL 2nd team All-Stars. Miller has experienced tremendous team success throughout his career and won three consecutive league championships in Bantam AAA, Minor Midget AAA, and Major Midget AAA prior to this season.
?Tayler is a very mature player with exceptional leadership qualities,” said Eagles Assistant Coach and Assistant GM Evan McFeeters. “He has played in high-pressure situations at every level and has had outstanding success. On the ice, he can contribute offensively with his vision, passing ability and willingness to join the attack. He is a competitive defender that uses his strength and reads to shut down opponents and create turnovers.?
Miller will begin his junior hockey career at the Eagles Main Camp scheduled for the fall.
