Zach Carlson Commits to the Eagles for the 2018-19 Season

The Canmore Eagles are happy to announce another St. Albert, Alberta born player has signed on with the club. Zach Carlson has committed to the Eagles for the 2018-19 season.

Carlson is a 6’0” 180lbs 00-born right winger, who played last season with the St. Albert Midget AAA Raiders in the Alberta Major Midget Hockey League. Carlson scored 7 goals, picked up 12 assists on the way to 19 points in 33 games played. He also appeared in two AJHL games with the Eagles as an affiliate player.

“Zach possesses dynamic speed on the wing, and the capability to make plays while utilizing his skating talent,” said Eagles Assistant Coach Evan McFeeters. “If the puck is not on Zach’s stick he has displayed that he will get his nose dirty to win the puck back for his linemates. We envision Zach becoming a heavy forechecker and a scoring threat at the junior A level.”

Carlson will step onto the ice for Eagles Training Camp on August 28th.
